So what is GamesPaper then?

GamesPaper has been set up by Simon Martin, developer of HertsInternet, along with a small team of friends (all avid gamers) who have helped to get the HertsInternet Network established.

The site covers all popular formats, including PC, Sony Playstation (PSone and PS2), Microsoft Xbox, Nintendo Gamecube, Gameboy Advance/Colour, Sega Dreamcast and other new consoles and formats as they become available. We also keep an eye on new technologies, mobile and online gaming.

GamesPaper is targeted at UK gamers, aged 15 to 35, although we have visitors from around the world, interested in computer games for all age groups. Coverage can be provided for games as either news, a review or preview, and also features such as developer interviews - we're also happy to consider other forms of coverage for your new products.

Since the launch of GamesPaper in March 2001, we have attended and reported on ECTS at ExCeL in London's Docklands, The Nintendo Show in Westminster, Live 2001 at the NEC, Game Stars Live, European Games Network, and a number of game launches. We are looking to provide further coverage of press events, along with increased coverage of overseas events (which sadly we won't be visiting - but maybe next year).

Like GamesPaper? Want something improved?
Please let us know what you think of GamesPaper, by using our Contact form. Positive or negative, we are interested in hearing what you want from a Games site, and are always looking at ways to improve the site so it's what you want!

Send us press releases, review code, freebies..
If you are a Games Publisher, PR Company or generally feel you could help GamesPaper grow, then please add GamesPaper to your Press List (PR contact details here).

We run UK retail machines, so will require promotional or retail versions of code, and are unable to run debug code currently (except PC).

Obviously we'd not be tempted to be bribed by freebies (much), but if you simply can't resist sending them, then they'll gladly be accepted - stickers, pens, t-shirts, games, consoles, just about anything really, we're not fussy ;)

We also run competitions on the site, so if you would like to sponsor a competition on GamesPaper, then please email, detailing what you'd like to do..
