Eidos have announced today that their recent Lara Croft outfit charity auction raised a stunning 4,400 for charity.

screenThe auction, which was held to raise money for UNICEF United Nations Children's Fund, took place over ten days on eBay, and found bidders from around the world bidding some serious amounts of cash on the very sort after outfit.

Fetching 4,400, the outfit was a one-off, which had been worn by Nell McAndrew during the Tomb Raider world tour during 1998 and 1999, and also came with Lara's circular sunglasses, open-backed leather gloves, woollen calf-length socks, and a certificate of authenticity.

Lara's getting an all new outfit for her new Angel of Darkness game, which will involve all new gameplay modes in three "chapters", which will include an RPG style adventure, and traditional Tomb Raider style gameplay, along with new characters and a huge number of new moves.
