The Wrath of Cortex sees Crash in a mix of platform and action gaming, building on the million-selling success of the PSone versions of the game.

As in the rest of the series, villain Dr Cortex is up to no good, and Crash needs to avoid contact with Cortex's cronies, at the same time as collecting bonuses and trying to reach the end of the level, making use of anything that comes to hand on the way there.

The PlayStation 2 version of the game has a larger game world than the PSone predecessors, and also many more interactive features to increase the longevity of the title. A new tiptoe move is also a new addition to the title.

Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex is due for release on the PS2 this November.
