Crawfish interactive have signed a deal with The Bitmap Brothers to bring games to Nintendo's Game Boy Advance.

A selection of classic titles from the Bitmap Brothers will be developed, including Gods, Magic Pockets, The Chaos Engine, and Xenon II.

The GBA will see Speedball II: Brutal Deluxe as the first Bitmap Brothers title, and it will be based on the original Sega Mega Drive and Commodore Amiga versions.

For anyone who doesn't rember the excellent Speedball game, it involved a football style game, but without the normal rules - instead it was very fast paced, and had an added touch of violence in the gameplay, where you'd elbow the opposition, and generally barge your way to the goal.

Graphics will stay the same as the 1980's version, but will include a number of new features, such as taking advantage of the GBA's 4 player linkup facility.

GamesPaper will bring further details of Speedball II: Brutal Deluxe and the other Bitmap Brother titles which are in development as soon as we hear more.
