Electronic Arts have announced in a pre-E3 press briefing that they are to put their full support behind Microsoft's Xbox Live service.

Fifteen Xbox Live enabled games are already planned for release by EA, including Need for Speed Underground 2, Burnout 3, TimeSplitters Future Perfect and a title from the Battlefield series.

Additionally the agreement will see a number of EA Sport's titles getting the full Xbox Live treatment including FIFA Soccer 2005, NBA Live, NASCAR 2005: Chase for the Cup and Madden NFL.

The first Xbox Live titles from EA are expected to be released as early as this summer. As soon as we get further details of the forthcoming Electronic Arts schedule from E3 we'll let you know.
