Electronic Arts are reportedly developing a number of titles for Nintendo's GameCube console.

Among the titles which are being developed include Madden NFL 2002, SSX Snowboard Supercross, and FIFA. It's also rumoured that the recently acquired licence of J K Rowling's books Harry Potter could also be heading to Nintendo's console.

This can be seen as a huge bonus to Nintendo, and the backing of EA seems to show that the console must be something really promising indeed, and with the varied range of EA titles available, it should make the console much more popular with an older audience.

EA are being quite secretive with the full details of their GameCube plans, but details are likely to be announced during E3, where we hope to find out just what treats are heading for the GameCube.
