Focus Multimedia announced at ECTS 2001 that they have secured the publishing rights to The 3D Gamemaker by Actualize.

Featuring an easy to use editor which simply requires the user to click on the objects and scenes required, the 3D Gamemaker allows unique 3D games to be made within minutes, using just a few clicks of the mouse and a bit of imagination.

A massive 12 Billion game options are possible with the package, and it's also possible to alter the textures of objects, import additional sounds, and your own 3D models to further add personalised touches to games that you create. Games can then be saved as .exe programs and then shared on disks with friends or over the internet.

The screenshots on this page show variations of a 3D driving style game, but the system can also create First Person Shooters, Horror, Cartoon, and War style games, or you can simply create a game from scratch choosing exactly what you want to include.

Due for release during September, The 3D Gamemaker published by Focus Multimedia will retail for 29.99 - a real bargain when you consider how many personalised games can be created. GamesPaper hope to bring a full review of The 3D Gamemaker soon.
