ECTS 2002 is only two weeks away now, and final preparations are being made for Europe's largest computer games and interactive entertainment trade event, which is expected to see record numbers through the doors during the three day event.

Earls Court in London

Exhibitors in the trade section of the show currently include big names such as Electronic Arts, Konami, Ubi Soft, Infogrames, Activision, THQ, Acclaim and Codemasters - over 150 exhibitors have been confirmed so far, from the smallest of upcoming developers, to the big publishers, accessory manufacturers, graphics card companies and specialists in various aspects of the industry.

For the first time ever, ECTS will be hosting a consumer event alongside it, in the form of the PlayStation Experience. Highlights of the consumer hall will be fully playable versions of all the major forthcoming titles, plus a massive line-up of entertainment from top DJ's, breakdancers, inline skaters, and BMX riders - there's even going to be the odd celebrity hanging about, so who knows, you may end up on a multiplayer game against one of your idols.

Tickets for the PlayStation Experience at Earls Court cost 8 plus a 1 booking fee, and are available from the booking line on 0870 739 8700, with more information available from the PlayStation website.

We'll be previewing ECTS about a week before the event to give you an idea of the titles which we expect to be making headline news, and we'll have full coverage direct from the show starting on Thursday August 29th.
