The Entertainment and Leisure Software Publishers Association announced the new initiative which will honour key people who have helped put the UK games industry on the map.

Tomb Raider has seen sales in excess of 28 million copies world wide since the first game back in 1996, and so it is understandable why the creator of such a widely known character in the video games world should be awarded in such way.

ELSPA's second entrant to the hall of fame is set to be announced at the InDin charity dinner in December, wih the Hall of Fame being displayed prominently at the ELSPA offices in Wardour Street, London.
