The interface is being tweaked for Game Boy Advance, with all the locations, puzzles and dialogue of the home formats kept in place.

"A version of Broken Sword for Game Boy Advance started off as a mad suggestion a couple of months back," says Charles Cecil, Revolution’s managing director, "We prototyped the graphic engine, got the basic gameplay working and realised that it worked really, really well".

The game is the same as the formats that it has already been released on, other than the slighty reduced resolution graphics, which look amazing, and show how good games will look on Nintendos new handheld Game Boy Advance which launches in Europe on June 22nd.

Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars will be available on Game Boy Advance for Christmas 2001, publisher to be announced.
