Barbican based computer games exhibition Game On has now got a website, with further details of the event which runs from May 16th to September 15th 2002.

The website at includes a brief history of gaming, and gives a teaser of what to expect from the exhibition which charts the history of games over the past 40 years, from the very first arcade machines right up to the Xbox and Gamecube.

Tickets are priced at 11 for Adults, 5 for Children, and 8 for Students, unemployed and OAP's, and discounts available for group bookings.

Over 250 exhibits will be showcased in a specially designed environment, which will be made up of 16 themed sections, including Early Arcade Games, Game Consoles, Games Culture in Japan, USA and Europe, Character Design, and a look in to the future with devices such as PlayStation 2 USB camera technology, Japanese 'communication games' and the latest 3rd generation phone technology.

Game On takes place between May 16th and September 15th 2002 at the Barbican in London, before moving on to the Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh between October 2002 and February 2003, and is shaping up to be a must-see event which you'd be a fool not to visit.
