UK based games publisher Rage have announced that they've entered into a development agreement with Nintendo to produce Gamecube titles.

Work will begin with their David Beckham licensed game, and further Gamecube titles to be announced at a later date.

Managing Director of Rage, Paul Finnegan told us "We are delighted to have secured this agreement with Nintendo as it gives Rage the opportunity to work with all three leading players in the console market. We look forward to bringing a range of high quality and compelling games to the Nintendo GameCube platform."

The Gamecube launches in Japan and America later this year, with a European launch set for 2002. Rage hope to have their first Gamecube title available before the end of 2002.
