Nintendo yesterday announced that they were to cut the retail price of their Game Boy Advance handheld machines from February 1st.

The price cut will see American GBA's retailing for $79.95, with Japan and Europe also getting similar price cuts. The new UK price will be between 10 and 15 less than they are now, with a retail price of 69.99 likely by the end of the week.

Games are also to receive a more wallet friendly price, when they get 5 shaved off the retail price - all new titles available for 29.99 or less from this Friday.
