Welsh based Jester Interactive have announced that they've become a games publisher, with a whole raft of titles in development.

The company, who many will know for their hit Music series, and MTV Music Generator 2 for the PlayStation 2, are taking the bold step in to the publishing limelight, with their first release expected by April 2002.

Super Trucks will be the first title to make it's high wire appearance in front of the crowds at Jesters big-top, and will see official licensed action based around the truck racing championship. The Official Isle of Man TT motorcycle game will follow shortly afterwards, with other motorsport tiles in the works.

Jester Interactive's CEO Gavin Morgan, dressed in a clowns outfit, told us "Jester has long been renowned for creating original and entertaining product. With our strong organisational structure and key licences, we are now ideally placed to take advantage of the expanding video game market".

Of particular interest to gamers of the 80's, will be that Jester have the rights to Graftgold's titles, including the excellent Manic Miner and Jet Set Willy, which will be getting modern day remakes.

We'll be taking up a ring side seat and following the action from Jester closely - we'll let you know all the news of Jester's titles as soon as details become available. In the meantime you can check out their website at www.jesterinteractive.com.
