Lionhead Studios have selected Criterion Software's RenderWare Physics technology, for use in a number of their forthcoming titles including Black & White 2.

RenderWare Physics allows game developers to use a range of advanced body dynamics, character physics and features such as real-time dynamic behavior of objects, which Criterion claim will offer future games "a new dimension of realism and exciting gameplay options".

Alongside Black & White 2, Lionhead also expect to use the physics system for B.C. and The Movies which is also using other aspects of the RenderWare studio as part of the multi-format development of the title.
