The annual computer games trade show ECTS at Earls Court in West London starts today, and is also being joined for the first time by rival shows GameStars Live and the European Games Network, over at Excel in East London.

GamesPaper will have full coverage from all three days of the trade events, followed by a week of extended coverage where you'll get to read our impressions of all the best and worst games that were on show.

Our hugely popular cameraphone reporting makes a return again this year, after being trialled for the first time at ECTS 2003, and will see photos from the show "as it happens", with multimedia messages being sent via GPRS to our server and processed automatically within seconds, and then available for viewing on our special GamesPaper Direct pages.

Both ECTS and EGN are trade only events, but if you want to visit GameStars Live then doors open to the public at midday today, and the show runs until September 5th - more details are available from www.gamestarslive.co.uk.
