Codemasters have released a number of teaser videos showing off features of their upcoming Colin McRae Rally 3 on the PlayStation 2 and Xbox.

The videos show off the panel bending damage engine, and shows how both McRae and co-driver Nicky Grist react to every twist and turn of the track, bumps and rolls as you try to drive to the end of stage checkpoint - hopefully with all four wheels still in place.

Video footage then turns to the stunning weather effects, of which there are plenty in CM3, including snow and torrential rain, which as we've reported before, sees rain exploding on to the screen and then streaking as the wiper blades try to restore your view of the track ahead. Colin McRae Rally 3 is due for release on the Xbox and PlayStation 2 on September 27th, and you can pre-order now by visiting the Codemasters online shop.
