THQ have revealed the first details and screens of Moto GP 2 on the Xbox, which is due for release this Spring.

Moto GP: Ultimate Racing Technology was a massive hit when it was released on the Xbox last year, and was widely considered to be one of the best games on the Xbox so far, so it's sequel should be well received by Xbox owners.

The game will be fully compatible with the Xbox Live broadband gaming network, allowing for up to 16 players to compete against each other on circuits from around the world, and also speak to each other via the Xbox Communicator headset.

Gameplay modes will be plentyful, with Stunt, GP, time trial, training, tag, Live (online), multi-player and single race all catered for. What's more you'll be able to create custom riders and customise your bike so it's fine tuned to how you want it.

All of the realistic weather and bike physics from Ultimate Racing Technology will be carried over to Moto GP 2, along with a series of improvements to make everything in Moto GP 2 feel even more like real life 500cc motorcycle racing.

Moto GP: 2 is due for release on the Xbox in May, published by THQ.
