Nokia have announced this morning that their N-Gage game deck phone will tour 16 European countries as part of the build up to the global launch of the device on October 7th 2003.
The event take in more than 50 cities, starting in Helsinki on August 9th, and ending with a final in Paris on October 4. Gamers will get the chance to experience N-Gage gaming and take part in the N-Gage Challenge, which will see the highest scoring players invited to take place in the Paris based final.
A full schedule of the N-Gage tour is due to be announced on the N-Gage website in early August. Nokia have also confirmed that they will be at ECTS in London from August 27th to 29th, and we'll bring further coverage of the phone when we get to see it on the first day of the show.

Speed boost for British gamers
Internet service providers across the UK have been increasing connection speeds rapidly over the past few months, with new higher speed 8Mbps products from BT Total Broadband and other major ADSL providers.
The new faster speeds are already being offered in some parts of the country, where operator UK Online are providing a Home 22Mbps service over selected BT telephone lines in major urban areas.
Meanwhile gamers living in Telewest and NTL cabled areas can now receive up to 10Mbps download speeds on the top consumer package.
