Nintendo on America have announced that the Game Boy Advance SP has sold over 1.1 million units since it went on sale in the USA, and to celebrate are launching two new colour choices.

From September gamers in America will get the choice of a hot looking Flame red, and Onyx black SP, doubling the choice from the current colours of Platinum and Cobalt Blue, and making the tiny handheld machine even more attractive to gamers.

It's not known if we'll also get new special coloured GBA SP's here in Europe, although we did get the Black SP at launch unlike the Americans - a Flame red and possibly translucent colour like the original GBA would certainly be welcome here in the UK.
