Nitendo announced yesterday that they're going to host Cube Clubs in the run up to the launch of their Gamecube console.

The clubs will take place between April 2nd and 27th, at a number of locations across the UK, and will give an opportunity for retailers and consumers to get a preview of the treats that will be on offer when Gamecube launches across Europe on May 3rd.

Fifty Gamecube pods will be available at each event, and titles including Luigi’s Mansion and WaveRace: Blue Storm will be the major 1st party highlights, alongside exclusive third party titles Stars Wars Rogue Leader Rogue Squadron II from LucasArts and Sonic Adventure 2 Battle from Sega. Further features of the Cube Clubs will be the WaveRace rider arcade machine, and a Photo-Cube which takes 6 digital photos of your face from various angles and gives you a print which can be assembled to make a cube head.
