Majesco have today announced Black a Bruised, which packs a punch via it's cel-shaded graphics.

Black and Bruised will see gamers taking on other boxers in five gameplay modes including training modes, single and multiplayer, and full championship play where you fight to obtain the illusive world title.

Full motion video which will report the outcome of the fight on the boxer, showing how it's effected their life. Other features will include special moves for each boxer called a "super punch", and these moves will be visually enhanced with effects such as explosions, fire and electricity.

This isn't the first boxing title that we've seen with cel shading though, with THQ's Boxing Fever on the GBA featuring a very similar style of graphics.

Black and Bruised is due for release by the end of this year, on the PlayStation 2 and Gamecube.
