Last week Ubi Soft and Fox Interactive announced that they'd signed a worldwide publishing agreement for Planet of the Apes, and the first screens have become available today.


Based on the novel "Planet of the Apes" written by Pierre Boulle, the game will feature gameplay based on part of the film, an also Beneath the Planet of the Apes.

Graphics of the PC version are are from a third person perspective. Screens of the Game Boy versions haven't been released yet, but the GBA version is said to feature photo-quality images and special effects.


Planet of the Apes will be bounding on to the PC this month, with Game Boy Advance and Color versions following in November. A PlayStation version is also in the works although a release date has yet to be announced.
