Ubi Soft have released further details about Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3 on the Xbox, which was first shown to the press at E3 in May.

Rainbow Six 3 is based on the based on the PC title Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield, but features totally new gameplay for the Xbox, along with full compatability with the Xbox Live broadband gaming network.

As can be seen from the screenshots on this page, the graphics are taken to the next level, and are powered by the next-generation Unreal engine, allowing for some stunning lighting effects and highly detailed environments which can be explored in the 14 single player, and 9 multiplayer missions.

Rainbow Six 3 is due for release on the Xbox by the end of the year, with other formats to follow at a later date.
