SEGA of America have today confirmed that the e3 expo in Los Angeles next month will see the debut of Headhunter: Redemption.

The sequel to Headhunter will follow Jack Wade, with the story set a further 20 years on, after the devastation caused by the Bloody Mary virus, and will feature "Above" and "Below" realities, which will polarise the thriving metropolis with that of the subterranean colony which is home to the criminals and undesirables.

It's believed that Jack and Leeza X will come across an arms smuggling operation, which they need to bring to an end before it spells catastrophe for the world - blimey.

Headhunter: Redemption is due for release on the PlayStation 2 in North America and Europe by the end of 2003, and we'll have further news from e3 as soon as it's announced.
