Developed by Sony's Cambridge studio in association with the cast and producers of the TV show, 24: The Game is being bravely billed as "the biggest action adventure game of the year" - possibly quite rightly so seeing as all the key aspects of the programme including music written by the show's composer, graphics and sound effects, and a complete script penned by 24 writer Duppy Demetrius.

Over 100 missions will feature in the game, which spans a number of gameplay modes including high-speed driving, sniping from roof-tops and short range shootouts whilst on the tail of suspects, and numerous puzzles to solve with a full range of gadgets to help make it all feel that bit more authentic.

24: The Game is due for release exclusively on the PlayStation 2 later this year.
