A worldwide deal between Microsoft and THQ has been announced, which will see THQ publishing a number of Game Boy Advance games developed by British based Rare.

When Microsoft announced that they'd acquired Rare last September, the future of a number of titles were unknown, but today's deal will now see Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge, Banjo Pilot, It's Mr. Pants and Sabre Wulf all finally being secured for release.

It is believed that Banjo Pilot is a re-working of Diddy Kong Pilot which was previously under development by Rare, and seen in action at the London Nintendo Show in September 2001. The game required you to tilt the GBA in the direction which you want the plane to fly, with tilt sensors built in to the cartridge.

The first title to be published by THQ under the deal is expected to be Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge, which is due for release by the end of 2003.
