News from the pit lane is that Codemasters have postponed the PAL release of TOCA Race Driver on the Xbox, for at least 6 months.


The announcement is due to be confirmed by the company later today, and follows a revision in Codemasters publishing plans, which sees the PlayStation 2 edition of the game become the lead console format.

A revised publishing date of TOCA Race Driver on the Xbox, is expected to be announced by Codemasters this Autumn, and the PS2 and PC release for the stunning looking racer is still due for this June.

Yesterday Codemasters announced their April to Autumn release schedule for the UK, which is as follows:

  • Prisoner of War - June PS2 and Xbox, Autumn PC

  • World War II: Frontline Command (Previously World War 2) - PC Autumn
