Atari have released the first set of screenshots of Rollercoaster Tycoon 3, revealing the 3D graphics and Coaster Cam view which will feature in the game.

As can be seen from these very first screenshots on this page, it looks like RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 has received a massive update to it's graphics which hadn't previously changed very much from the original ones when the game was released back in 1999, where it was just a simple isometric view similar to Transport Tycoon.

New features which will be used in the series for the first time include a fully 3D view that lets you see your park from every angle, along with a Coaster Cam giving you a front-seat view of your rides much like EA's Theme Park World offers, but with what appears to be much higher resolution and clarity visuals.

RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 is bound to be a massive seller, filling a good few virtual sickbags this Christmas when it's released on the PC, and you can find more about the game on the RollerCoaster Tycoon website.
