In yet another pre-E3 announcement by Electronic Arts, they have confirmed that development of Xbox, Gamecube and PlayStation 2 version of The Sims Bustin' Out is taking place, with a release during early 2004 expected.

The Sims Bustin' Out sees your Sims finally leaving the environment of their home, and carrying out various activities in a number of new locations including dance clubs, gyms with a Climbing Wall and a High Dive, and even gate crash neighbours parties wreaking havoc as you go.

"We're giving our fans what they've been asking for, the excitement of getting out of the house to explore new locations, meet wild new characters, and experience new storylines," said Sinjin Bain of EA's Maxis studio.

The game will be shown at the Electronic Entertainment Exposition in Los Angeles from May 14th, and we'll have further details along with a selection of screenshots soon.
