Gamers in the UK are to get their hands on Halo 2 in less than a month's time, after it was announced the game will be playable at the Game Stars Live show in London at the start of September.

Halo 2 isn't due for UK release until November 11th, and has so far only been played by a very small number of the world's gaming press, but Microsoft have today confirmed that the Xbox game will make it's UK public playable debut at Game Stars Live from September 1st to 5th at ExCeL in London's Docklands.

A dedicated Halo 2 area will feature at the event, which is said to be the biggest computer and video gaming exhibition the country has ever seen, and supported by a number of other leading publishers including Activision, Atari, Eidos, EA Games, Konami, Nintendo and Ubisoft.
