At the Milia event in the South of France yesterday, Ubi Soft and Kalisto jointly announced Nightmare Creatures 3, Angel of Darkness for next generation consoles.

The game is the sequel to Nightmare Creatures 2, which sold over 2 million units when it was released on the PlayStation, N64, Dreamcast and PC.

Set in 19th Century central Europe with the aim to solve a mysterious event, gameplay follows the actions of a new agile heroine, who explores Prague during daylight. At night you're transformed in to a formidable fighting beast, and have to defeat Adam Crowley, the ultimate boss, in the final combat.

Suspense tension will provide a sophisticated Gothic horror experience for gamers which will totally immerse them in the gameplay, with the life-like world, real-time transformations from heroine to beast and special effects that take full advantage of the power in next generation consoles.

Nightmare Creatures 3, Angel of Darkness is due for release in Spring 2003.
