Screenshots of a wacky cartoon style game called Voodoo Vince have leapt in to the spotlight today, although it appears that Microsoft may have slipped them out on to the internet a couple of weeks ago without any sort of announcement.

Xbox exclusive Voodoo Vince is expected to be officially revealed at E3 in Los Angeles later this month, and as far as we can tell it's made by up-and-coming UK developer Beep Industries.

The screens instantly remind us of when we first saw Blinx last May, and have a very similar style to them, with lush looking visuals and crazy warped looking landscapes - exact gameplay features are still to be confirmed, but it'd appear that Vince will be able to heal himself from anything nasty that may happen to him - from slipping on a banana to getting sliced in half by a meat cleaver, and even being blown up by explosives.

It's therefore likely that as Vince is a Voodoo doll, he'll have to put himself through deadly acts to inflict pain on the other characters in the game, which should not only provide for some pretty crazy over-the-top self inflicted pain, all in the name of personal gain.

Other acts of crazy combat are likely to include Vince sawing himself up with a chainsaw, dropping heavy weights on his head, poking himself with sharp pins - all of which will have a direct effect on nearby characters in the surrounding area, and best of all Vince will wall away from each situation unharmed - although presumably if the trick isn't pulled off properly he'll loose a life or cause some form of damage to his health.

Voodoo Vince certainly looks like it'll be a title that will get a lot of attention, and we'll bring full news about the game, as soon as they details come out of E3.
