Ubi Soft have unveiled their latest title, in the form of a cel-shaded First Person Shooter.


Titled XIII, the game sees Belgium author Jean Van Hamme's comics transformed in to a powerful First Person Shooter, which will make use of the Unreal II engine to provide a totally unique style for the FPS genre.

President of Ubi Soft North America, Laurent Detoc, said "From the revolutionary first-person cel-shade animation, Unreal II technology and unique storyline, XIII reaches the limits of interactive gameplay never experienced before" - and it sure enough is like no other FPS that we've ever seen before, and to be honest, we're not at all sure what to make of it all.

We'll bring further news of XIII as soon as Ubi Soft reveal more details, but for now feast yuor eyes over these screens, and prepare for a very different FPS experience, when XIII gets it's release on the PlayStation 2, Gamecube, PC and Xbox early next year.
