Eidos have signed a deal with Celador International to publish both a sequel and a junior version of its video game based on the television series "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?"

In only its second week of release, "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?" created UK chart history by becoming the first ever title to top the All Formats, PlayStation, PC and Dreamcast charts in the same week. The game also stood at the number 1 position for an astounding 18 weeks, and become the biggest selling game ever in UK.

Jonathan Kemp, European Managing Director of Eidos says: "We are delighted to have secured the publishing rights to two completely new versions of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? and to further strengthen our great working relationship with Celador. We will be aiming to continue the phenomenal success of what has become one of the videogame industry's strongest franchises".

The junior edition will be released this summer on PlayStation and PC and the sequel will be released this autumn on PlayStation 2, PlayStation and PC.
