Microsoft have released a list of new titles, which are being show at the X02 event in Seville, which is taking place today and tomorrow.

One of the biggest announcements from the company was the confirmation that they have purchased UK based Rare in a $375 million cash transaction, which will see them developing exlcusively for Xbox.

Rare will work on a number of titles including Perfect Dark 2, and Kameo: Elements of Power, which is a role-playing adventure. Microsoft game studios have also announced Sudeki, which the company say will "push the limits of what gamers think an RPG can be", and sees four heroes hurtled over the edge into a flight into darkness, with the action wrapped around Hong Kong-style cinematic combat style of gameplay.

Other 1st and 3rd party games that are on show at the event in the South of Spain include Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance, FIFA Football 2003, Steel Battalion, Championship Manager 02/03 and a demo of the Online version of MotoGP: Ultimate Racing Technology.

Xbox Live games which are said to launch "this year" in Europe will be Unreal Championship, MechAssault, Whacked!, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon, and MotoGP Live, with at least 50 more titles following during 2003.
