Microsoft have announced part of the UK launch lineup for Xbox 360 at the X05 event which is taking place in Amsterdam tonight, with around 18 titles expected for the machine's Christmas launch.

Project Gotham Racing 3

First party titles Kameo: Elements of Power, Perfect Dark Zero, and Project Gotham Racing 3 will make up Microsoft's share of the games, and are joined by Crackdown developed by Real Time Worlds, Gears of War by Epic Games, Too Human from Silicon Knights, and BioWare's Mass Effect all being published under the Microsoft Games Studio label.

Other publishers titles planned for the next-generation format will include FIFA 06: Road to FIFA World Cup, Saint's Row, Full Auto, Condemned: Criminal Origins, Superman Returns: The Videogame, Call of Duty 2, Castle Wolfenstein, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell 4, Quake 4, and MotoGP Ultimate Racing Technology 2006.

How many of these title will be available before Christmas however is very sketchy, and doesn't look likely to be known until much nearer the UK launch on December 2nd - similar to Sony's European PSP release last month, where an accurate launch lineup wasn't confirmed until the very last moment.
