Microsoft have just released the first downloadable content for Midtown Madness 3 today, in the form of a freely downloadable car pack.

The free 290 block Midtown Madness 3 add-on provides four new cars, in the form of an old fashion Ambassador, an American Thrasher muscle car, R4000 sports coupe, and even a bizarre looking shopping trolley on wheels with a somewhat dubious top speed.

Further add-on packs are expected to be released over the coming months, including extra Checkpoint and Blitz tracks for both the Paris and Washington DC maps, along with a selection of extra vehicles.

This is great news to both Xbox Live gamers who have been playing Midtown Madness 3 for a number of months now, and also new Xbox owners who will be taking advantage of the Xbox console, Halo and Midtown Madness 3 bundle which launches in the UK tomorrow.
